We have just purchased another Tait 300 Series repeater to go in place of the Yaesu unit currently being used, this should be operational and in place well before Christmas 2004. This should help users who are having problems with accessing the Yaesu, (GB3PC) but you will have to get your CTCSS tones sorted out and set them to 71.9Hz. As CTCSS will be activated when the Tait unit goes into service soon. This may also help keep out unwanted signals from distant stations using the North London repeater (GB3NL) which is on the same frequency of 145.775MHz O/P. Some local users may have to fit CTCSS boards to their older radio's, or they will not be able to access the new unit.

The Tait unit should be up and running as GB3PC with CTCSS activated Easter 2006.
